High-Contrast Black Cow Hide Rug – 181 x 172 cm (No. 806)

High-contrast black cow hide rug, 181 x 172 cm

Deep black patches spread across warm cream in a bold, high-contrast pattern on this cow hide rug. Large blotches fill the flanks while a pale spine line runs down the centre, giving a loosely mirrored layout. Fine grey flecking near the neck and rump softens the edges of the markings. Both top corners are solid black, which frames the lighter middle. At 181 x 172 cm, it is generous enough to anchor a lounge or sit under a coffee table with the sofa legs resting on it. The monochrome palette pairs well with dark timber, leather seating, concrete finishes and crisp white walls in modern, rustic or Scandinavian interiors.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
