High-Contrast Black Cow Hide Rug – 201 x 189 cm (No. 919)

High-contrast black cow hide rug, 201 x 189 cm

Bold black patches roll across a creamy white ground on this cow hide rug, with the deepest, darkest mass gathered through the shoulders and the centre of the back. A faint spine line runs down the middle, and the markings loosely mirror each other from left to right. A small white gap breaks up the central black, a clean white border frames the edges, and two rounded black patches sit along the lower edge. The pattern is graphic without feeling busy. At 201 x 189 cm it suits anchoring a lounge, sitting under a coffee table or defining a reading corner. Pair it with tan leather, warm timber or crisp white walls in a modern, rustic or farmhouse interior.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
