Spine-Striped Black Cow Hide Rug – 210 x 188 cm (No. 936)

Spine-striped black cow hide rug, 210 x 188 cm

A bold central spine of deep black runs the length of this cow hide rug, set against a soft cream-white field and scattered with smoky grey and charcoal spots. The contrast is strong, yet the overall effect stays fairly neutral because the white dominates and the dark markings read as graphic accents. Splashes cluster around the shoulders and rump, while the flanks stay open and calm, giving a loosely symmetrical balance. At 210 x 188 cm it is generous enough to anchor a lounge or sit beneath a coffee table. Pair it with warm timber floors, tan leather and natural linen, or with crisp white and charcoal Scandinavian-style interiors.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
