High-Contrast Black Cow Hide Rug – 216 x 197 cm (No. 964)

High-contrast black cow hide rug, 216 x 197 cm

Bold, inky patches sit on a creamy white ground in this cow hide rug, giving a crisp, graphic look. Deep black covers the neck and shoulders, while two large blotches stretch across the middle either side of a pale spine line, so the markings feel loosely mirrored. A generous white border frames the edges, with a few small black flecks near the hind end. At 216 x 197 cm, it is big enough to anchor a lounge or sit under a coffee table with the sofa legs resting on its edge. Pair it with warm oak or walnut floors, tan leather, or crisp white and charcoal Scandinavian-style interiors.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
