Pale Speckled Brown Cow Hide Rug – 191 x 172 cm (No. 972)

Pale speckled brown cow hide rug, 191 x 172 cm

Pale cream and soft grey salt-and-pepper speckling gives this cow hide rug a quiet, muted look, warmed by caramel and tan blotches that gather along the spine and across the lower back. A darker spine line runs down the centre, and the colour fades gently towards a clean cream border with no bold spots or hard edges. Contrast is low, so it reads as neutral and easy to live with, with a fairly even balance from left to right. At 191 x 172 cm it suits anchoring a lounge seating area, sitting under a coffee table or lying beside a bed. Pair it with dark wooden floors, white linen, grey fabric sofas or tan leather for a calm, earthy Scandi or farmhouse setting.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
