Speckled Roan Brown Cow Hide Rug – 202 x 204 cm (No. 961)

Speckled roan brown cow hide rug, 202 x 204 cm

Speckled Roan describes this hide well: a cream and white base finely flecked with tan and caramel, broken up by larger chestnut patches that spread out from the middle. A darker brown to near-black stripe runs down the spine, and tiny black specks gather around the edges and the lower flanks. The overall look is soft and earthy rather than stark, and the markings sit in a balanced, mirrored layout. At 202 x 204 cm, this cow hide rug is generous enough to anchor a lounge, sit under a coffee table with the sofa legs resting on it, or fill the floor beside a bed. Its warm neutral palette pairs easily with tan leather, natural oak, linen upholstery and whitewashed walls, and it also sits comfortably with darker timber and black metal accents.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
