Smoky Taupe Brown Cow Hide Rug – 211 x 197 cm (No. 805)

Smoky taupe brown cow hide rug, 211 x 197 cm

Smoky taupe and soft sand blend across this cow hide rug in a gentle, cloud-like gradient, with no spots or patches to interrupt the surface. Deeper chocolate brown settles around the shoulders, neck and hindquarters, while the centre lightens to a warm, muted fawn. A thin russet line follows the spine and gives the hide a mirrored, symmetrical look from side to side. The tones are muted rather than bold, so it reads as a calm neutral. At 211 x 197 cm, it is large enough to anchor a lounge or sit under a dining table. It pairs well with cream linen, tan leather, natural oak and charcoal upholstery, and suits Scandi, rustic or modern earthy interiors.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
