Soft Mottled Grey Cow Hide Rug – 205 x 173 cm (No. 812)

Soft mottled grey cow hide rug, 205 x 173 cm

Soft, cloudy mottling drifts across a pale, warm base in this cow hide rug, where light stone and oatmeal tones meet muted smoky shading around the shoulders and flanks. A darker, fine spine line runs down the centre, with a faint russet touch near the tail end, giving gentle structure to an otherwise low-contrast surface. The outline is balanced and fairly symmetrical, with no white border or bold spots to compete with the room. At 205 x 173 cm it suits anchoring a lounge, sitting under a coffee table or softening the floor beside a bed. Pair it with natural oak, linen upholstery and whitewashed walls, or set it against dark timber and black metal for a quiet, neutral contrast.

Caring for your cowhide rug

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
