Nguni Hide Rug – Speckled Spine Black, 233 x 181 cm (No. 1105)

Nguni hide rug – speckled spine black, 233 x 181 cm

Deep, inky black covers most of this Nguni hide, broken by a vertical white spine line that runs from the shoulders to the rump in a scatter of black flecks. Towards the edges the colour dissolves into fine salt-and-pepper speckling, then opens into creamy white borders along the flanks and neck. The contrast is bold, yet the pattern stays balanced, with the markings broadly mirrored left to right. At 233 x 181 cm it is generous enough to anchor a lounge or sit beneath a coffee table. Pair it with pale oak floors, grey linen sofas, tan leather or white-washed walls for a graphic monochrome look.

Caring for your Nguni hide

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
