Nguni Hide Rug – Speckled Spine Brown, 219 x 179 cm (No. 1007)

Nguni hide rug – speckled spine brown, 219 x 179 cm

Deep chocolate flanks sit either side of a creamy white spine line, flecked with fine brown speckles that fade softly into the edges. The pattern is remarkably symmetrical, so the hide reads balanced and calm rather than busy. Cream borders and a lightly sprinkled belly end frame the darker patches and keep the contrast gentle but clear. Measuring 219 x 179 cm, this cow hide rug is generous enough to anchor a lounge seating area, sit under a coffee table or stretch out beside a bed. The warm, earthy palette suits oak and walnut furniture, tan leather, linen upholstery and white or stone-washed walls. A natural fit for farmhouse, Scandi, boho and modern rustic interiors.

Caring for your Nguni hide

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
