Nguni Hide Rug – Speckled Spine Brown, 230 x 210 cm (No. 1094)

Nguni hide rug – speckled spine brown, 230 x 210 cm

Fine chocolate and black speckling scatters across a creamy white ground, thickening into a dark brown band down the spine and thinning to salt-and-pepper flecks towards the edges. Warm caramel and tan washes soften the flanks, while russet patches at the shoulders and hind legs add depth. The contrast is moderate and the overall feel is neutral rather than loud, so the pattern looks lively without competing with the rest of a room. Roughly mirrored either side of the centre line, this Nguni hide measures 230 x 210 cm, large enough to anchor a lounge or sit under a coffee table. It pairs well with white linen, tan leather, black steel or natural oak.

Caring for your Nguni hide

Shake it out regularly and vacuum in the direction of the hair on low suction. Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth, and keep it out of strong direct sunlight to stop the colours fading.
